Tom got his first Engine Repair Course Completion Certificate in 1979 at Brigerland Applied Technology Center in Logan, Utah. He has been working on anything from go-karts and lawnmowers, to cars and trucks and farm equipment ever since. Tom's Auto was founded in a garage behind his house on Monroe Ave. in Riverton in 2012. om the 1950s to 2021 vehicles. He has experience on a wide range of vehicles, Japanese, Korean, German, Swedish, Italian, and of course American Made cars and trucks. It is easier to list what he does not do than what he does because he can do so much. He does not: Open diesel engines or automatic transmissions and he does not do finish body work. Other than that he has done it all. He will swap out automatic transmissions, he just does not try to rebuild them. He will also work on your diesel's other systems, just not inside the engine. The slogan, "If it's not on fire, I can fix it" is pretty much true. Give us a try. You will be pleased with the fact that it is done right the first time, every time. No need to bring it back several times for adjustments or re-dos. All work here is backed up by a one year warranty unless specifically stated before the work is done. We don't even try to up-sell you unless you ask us to. We want to get you on the road cheaply and efficiently. We do not want to take all your money at once. All parts must be purchased through us and the shop rate is currently $100 per hour with discounts for Veterans, Senior Citizens, Single Parents and Fleet Services available.
