There are no words that can describe the heartbreak and pain of losing someone you love so deeply. As many of you have heard, Bill Maddox recently passed away, surrounded by his family and friends.
No matter what role he had as a husband, father, grandfather, brother, salesman, or dear friend, he cared deeply about every one of them. Bill really had a passion for life and worked hard to accomplish many great things. He always had incredible stories to share about his family, flying, traveling, or the rich history of Maddox Motors. If you wanted to know something about the dealership, Bill could tell you just about anything.
Bill had a huge love for selling cars, but I think what meant the most to him were the relationships he built along the way. Many who walked through the doors as customers left as lifelong friends.
He also had a huge passion for drag racing. In later years, one of his greatest joys was supporting Craig at the racetrack. Together they spent countless hours racing and traveling, and always worked incredibly hard to be the best.
For many coming into the shop, it won't feel the same. Bill could often be found sitting on the bench by the front door greeting customers, and keeping everyone here at Maddox Motors company too.
While there will always be an emptiness, we are grateful for the memories, laughter, and lessons Bill leaves behind. His legacy will live on in the family he loved, the business he helped build, and the many friends he made throughout the years.
Bill will be missed beyond words, but he will never be forgotten.
