Yep, our teammates get a three-day weekend EVERY weekend! We work Monday through Thursday, but our customers can still pick up and drop off when it works for THEIR schedule. 🔑

🎃 Figured I’d go with something scary for Halloween… an auto repair shop owner! 😂

Costume includes loaner car keys, weekend calls and texts, and making sure payroll gets done. Phone sold separately—it’s already ringing! 📱🤣

🚗 WHY WOULD WE BE EXCITED THAT A CUSTOMER BOUGHT A NEW CAR INSTEAD OF FIXING HERS?

Because sometimes the best repair advice is knowing when NOT to repair a vehicle.

A customer recently brought us her 2013 Chevy Equinox with transmission problems. As our technicians investigated, we discovered significant internal transmission concerns, along with other needed repairs.

We could have recommended spending thousands of dollars to fix it.

But at Simpsonville Automotive, we follow a simple code of ethics. Before recommending a major repair, it needs to be:

✅ Good for the CUSTOMER
✅ Good for the VEHICLE
✅ Good for the SHOP

In this case, putting that much money into the vehicle simply didn’t make sense.

So what did we do?

We let her keep driving our complimentary loaner while she went shopping for a replacement vehicle!

And you know what? She found one!

We didn’t get the big transmission job. But we helped a customer make a decision that was better for her future.

And THAT is something worth celebrating.

🎉 Today marks 21 years of Simpsonville Automotive!

It was Friday, October 14, 2005—a nice, warm October day, much like this year—when we opened our doors. I had no idea we’d blink and suddenly be celebrating 21 years!

Through all the changes, one thing has stayed the same: this amazing community showing up and trusting us to take care of their vehicles and their families.

To our customers, friends, and neighbors: thank you for your trust, your referrals, and your support. And to my amazing team: thank you for the hard work and care you put into this shop every day. I couldn’t do it without you.
