We'd like you to meet Joe, our shop foreman and lead diagnostic technician.

Joe's the one keeping the shop moving day to day. When a vehicle comes in with something that isn't easy to pin down, he's who it goes to.

Off the clock, you'll usually find him out on the lake with a line in the water, putting work into his house, or spending time with the people who matter most to him — friends and family.

More than the title, Joe's just good to have around. He's an integral part of the Juhl family, and we're lucky to have him on the crew.

Your car spends most of its life on short trips around town. Quick errands, stop-and-go, nothing that really leans on it. So it feels fine — and for everyday driving, it is.

A long highway drive asks something different. A few hundred miles in the heat, loaded down with people and gear, no real stops — that leans on everything at once. The parts that give out on a trip like that are usually the ones that were already a little worn or a little overdue. They just hadn't been pushed hard enough to show it yet. Tread lower than it looks. A hose gone soft. Coolant that's been due a while.

None of that shows when you're pulling out of the driveway. It shows an hour from anywhere. So getting it looked at before you leave isn't about something being wrong — it's that if something's close, we'd rather find it here than have you find it out there. Been a while? We'd like you to meet Jordan, one of the newer techs on our team.

Jordan's spent about ten years in the automotive world. The last couple of those he was detailing, and that's where the eye for detail really got dialed in — the little things most people walk right past, he catches. Now he's back to turning wrenches, and that same attention carries straight into the work he does here.

Outside the shop, he's in his own garage rebuilding cars. It's not a job he clocks out of and forgets about, it's the thing he does on his own time too. He's also a dad to a young one, so when he's not under a hood, that's usually where you'll find him.

He told us he's a lifer here, and he means it. Plenty of ambition, and he genuinely likes the work and the people he does it with.

A 1967 Ford F100 — the first of the bumpsides — that came through the shop.

Root beer, dropped low, wood-plank bed out back, wood wheel and a full gauge setup inside. The owner didn't cut a single corner on this one.

Builds like this are always welcome here — classics, customs, and the occasional unicorn.
