Want to hear something scary?
Your teenager saying, “The car is doing something weird.”
During Teen Driver Safety Week, remind the newer drivers in your family that a vehicle doesn’t have to break down before something is wrong. Teach them to speak up when they notice:
⚠️ Warning lights on the dashboard
👂 Strange noises they haven’t heard before
⚙️ Delayed or unusual shifting
And parents, when they tell you something feels, sounds, or drives differently, don’t brush it off. They may not know how to describe a transmission problem, but noticing that something has changed is enough reason to have it checked.
Because “the car is doing something weird” can be a pretty important warning.
