NOW HIRING – Builder/Fabricator/Mechanic.
Carolina Truck Shop is growing and we’re looking to add at least one Custom & Classic Vehicle Builder to our team. Send us a message or email [email protected] to apply.
Our team is responsible for engine swaps, suspension rebuilds, brake system upgrades, body work, rust repair, wiring, installing wheels and tires, mounting body panels, building AN style fuel lines, and more. Demand from our customers has us expanding our business into other areas including paint & body, upholstery, exhaust and more.
Our Builder position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience working on show vehicles or similar.
There is no instruction manual for what we do, so you need to be able to figure things out, troubleshoot and find solutions when presented with problems & challenges.
Candidates must be able to show up on time, work safely, complete tasks in a timely manner, stay off their phones and have their own tools. Pay based on experience and the skillset you bring to the table.
About Carolina Truck Shop:
We’ve expanded into offering services for most classic and custom vehicles. We modify and/or customize almost every vehicle that comes through our doors. We lower vehicles, lift trucks, we add air suspension, we install big brakes, we upgrade to fuel injection, and we LS/LT Swap. We also offer new wiring, new interiors, new bed wood, rust repair, exhaust, general maintenance, and paint & bodywork.
Our positions are paid weekly for hours worked that week. We're also willing to be flexible for the right candidate, including help with relocation. Contact us if you're interested.

They guys have been CRUSHING it here at the shop the last few weeks.

Jake and Ira have been handling final assembly on Luke's '69 C10. Edgar has Landy's rust cut out and firewall prepared for shaving. George has Kenny's cab painted and the guys have assembly started on the rest of his truck. Jake fired up Darren's LS Swapped Tahoe last week. Ira has the metal work on JP and John's trucks under way. Jake got Sugar's intake leak fixed and he and Ira have it and Willie's truck tuned and running great.

I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things but you get the idea! 💙 the CTS team!

On Friday, CTS was a field trip stop for Greenville Technical College STEM Summer Bridge students.

Matt & Jake showed the students real world welding, fabrication and design. They even discussed automotive HVAC applications. Missy and Matt spoke about business ownership, accounting and marketing.
