🎆 Fourth of July Pet Safety Reminder 🇺🇸🐾

While we enjoy the fireworks, many of our pets find them frightening. Loud noises, flashing lights, and holiday gatherings can cause anxiety and even lead to pets escaping.

Here are a few ways to help keep your pet safe:
🐶 Keep pets indoors in a quiet, secure room.
🎵 Turn on a TV, fan, or calming music to help mask fireworks.
🏷️ Make sure collars and ID tags are up to date, and verify your microchip information is current.
🚪 Keep doors and gates closed, especially if guests are coming and going.
🍔 Keep pets away from fireworks, alcohol, corn cobs, chocolate, and other holiday foods.

💊 If your pet struggles with fireworks, don’t wait until the last minute! If your pet has needed anti-anxiety medication in the past or you think they may benefit this year, please give us a call as soon as possible. We want to make sure there’s enough time for an exam if needed and to have medication ready before the holiday.
