Not every visit turns into an estimate and a repair order. Sometimes the best solution is much simpler. ✨

Sharon Halsey wrote:

“Emerald and Jonathon were fantastic and instead of writing my estimate they were able to polish my scratch out while I waited in the office on the spot!!”

That’s a good reminder that the first step is figuring out what the vehicle actually needs.

We’re glad Emerald and Jonathon were able to help, Sharon, and even happier that your visit ended with one less scratch to worry about.

Not every part of collision repair looks busy. 🚗

In this photo, two vehicles are sitting inside with plenty of room around them. No sparks. No spray booth. No parts scattered across the floor.

But a vehicle can spend time between hands-on repair steps too.

There may be inspection work happening, information being reviewed, parts being checked or another step being prepared before the vehicle moves again.

That quieter time is still part of the process.

A repair doesn’t move forward just because somebody is standing next to the car with a tool in their hand. Sometimes the next important step is making sure everything is ready before the work continues.

Phone at his ear. Repair information up on the monitor. Paperwork spread across the desk. 📞

A lot of auto body repair happens before anyone ever picks up a tool.

Customers call with questions about estimates, scheduling, insurance paperwork, drop-off and what happens after the vehicle gets here.

And while the repair is underway, somebody still has to keep all of those moving pieces connected.

Sometimes the most helpful thing we can do is fix the vehicle.

Sometimes it starts with giving the person on the other end of the phone a clear next step.

Randy Bolinger kept his review simple:

“Great work! Worked well with insurance company.” 🙌

That second sentence matters.

For a lot of customers, the repair itself is only part of the situation. There can also be estimates, paperwork and questions about what happens next.

Helping customers understand that process is part of what we do here.

Thanks for the review, Randy. We appreciate you trusting us with your vehicle.

This room looks a lot calmer than the main repair floor. 👀

There are only a couple of vehicles in it, plenty of open space around them, and room to work without everything feeling crowded together.

That quieter setup is a good reminder that auto body repair is not always about visible body work.

Depending on the vehicle and the repair, there can be additional steps after the panels are repaired and refinished.

The important part is making sure the repair process accounts for what that vehicle actually needs before it goes back to the customer.

Sometimes the tools get set aside and the chairs come out. 📚

These photos are from a training day with our team, which means the normal rhythm of the shop looked a little different for a while.

Instead of cars moving through the room, everyone was sitting down together, listening, taking notes and talking through how we work.

Auto body repair keeps changing. Vehicles change. Repair methods change. Technology changes.

So making time to keep learning together matters too.

Beverly Turner kept her review short and covered a lot:

“Kind, helpful, quick turn around time.”

Then she added one more thing:

“Thanks for cleaning my car too.” 😊

That last part made us smile.

After the repair work is done, getting your vehicle back clean is a small detail, but it can make pickup feel a whole lot better.

Thanks for trusting us, Beverly.

That blue Corvette is hard to miss, but the paint booth behind it is just as important to this photo. 🎨

At Washington Auto Collision, our refinishing process is supported by an Ameri-Cure paint booth and a PPG paint system. Those tools help our team work in a controlled environment and support accurate, consistent refinishing after auto body repairs.

We also use PPG MoonWalk mixing technology and Digimatch color-matching tools as part of that process.

The equipment matters, but the goal is still simple: when the repair is finished, the color and finish should look like they belong on the vehicle.

That is the kind of detail we focus on here in Spokane Valley.

There are a lot of familiar faces packed into this photo. 👋

Some have been here a long time. Some came up through different parts of the shop. And every one of them plays a part in helping a damaged vehicle move from drop-off back to its owner.

That’s really what this picture is about.

Not a building. Not equipment. Not a list of job titles.

Just the people behind Washington Auto Collision.

Family owned and serving Spokane Valley since 1999, and still very much a team effort every day.

Sometimes the best review starts with, “I screwed up my tailgate.” 😄

David Starr came back to us after damaging the tailgate on his truck and wrote that our team does “top notch work.”

He also gave us a little grief for being busy, which is fair. Once the parts came in, though, he said we had him taken care of in about three days.

Then he finished with: “Thanks guys for another awesome job! If I just didn't know you so well it would be helpful LOL!”

David, thanks for trusting us again, and for keeping us humble.
