🛞 Fact Friday: that traction grade doesn’t tell the whole story!

Yesterday’s answer was D — straight-line braking on wet pavement. ✅

A tire’s UTQG traction grade—AA, A, B or C—is based on controlled wet stopping tests on asphalt and concrete. It doesn’t grade cornering grip, snow-and-ice performance, or high-speed hydroplaning resistance. 🌧️

Useful information? Absolutely. A complete picture of tire performance? Not quite!

Did you spot the tire-rating trap? Let us know below! 👇💙💚

10/08/2026

🛞 Trivia Thursday: that tire label might not mean what you think.

You’ve seen traction grades like AA, A, B and C—but which test actually determines them? 👀

Check the choices on the graphic and comment A, B, C or D. Bonus points if you can explain your pick! 👇

We’ll reveal the answer in tomorrow’s Fact Friday post. 💙💚
