🔧🚗 ANOTHER MAJOR REPAIR COMPLETED AT CLARK’S GARAGE! 💪

This 2014 Ford Escape Titanium 2.0L EcoBoost came into the shop with a severe engine oil leak. After diagnosing the problem, I confirmed the rear main crankshaft seal was leaking.

This wasn’t your average oil leak repair!

🛠️ Here’s what went into getting this Escape back on the road:

✅ Diagnosed and confirmed the source of the oil leak

✅ Removed the front end and engine to access the rear main seal

✅ Replaced the rear main seal and retainer assembly

✅ Reassembled and reinstalled the engine

✅ Evacuated and recharged the A/C system

✅ Pressure-tested the cooling system

✅ Changed the engine oil and filter

✅ Ran the engine and checked for leaks and proper operation

🔧🚗 1985 Cadillac DeVille – Window Regulator Repair! 🚗🔧

Another successful repair here at Clark’s Garage!

This classic 1985 Cadillac DeVille came in with an issue involving the driver’s side power window.

After diagnosing the problem, I found that the window regulator guide had failed, preventing the window from operating properly.

🔧 Here’s what I did:
✅ Diagnosed the window regulator issue
✅ Removed the window regulator assembly
✅ Replaced the damaged regulator guide
✅ Reassembled everything
✅ Tested the window and confirmed proper operation!

🔧 Kia misfire diagnosis and spark plug replacement at Clark’s Garage!

This Kia came in with a check engine light and a misfire. After inspecting the plugs, I replaced all four spark plugs and verified on a road test that no misfires were registering and no engine codes returned.

🔧 A little of everything on this 2009 Pontiac Vibe at Clark’s Garage!

✅ Both front struts replaced
✅ Passenger-side CV axle and carrier bearing bracket replaced
✅ Oil pan resealed to address a leak
✅ Fresh oil and filter
✅ Corroded battery terminals cleaned up
✅ Engine mounts replaced

🔧 2016 Chevy Colorado — Diagnostics Matter!

This Colorado came into Clark’s Garage with intermittent ABS, Traction Control, and StabiliTrak warnings, along with O₂ sensor work that needed to be completed.

All four wheel-speed sensors had recently been replaced with aftermarket sensors, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re working correctly.

During a road test while monitoring live data, I caught the left-front wheel-speed sensor dropping out while the other three continued reading normally. The faulty aftermarket sensor was replaced with an OEM replacement sourced through GM.

We also replaced the upstream and downstream O₂ sensors with OEM replacements. During removal, the downstream sensor pulled some material from the exhaust threads, so the threads were carefully chased and cleaned before the new sensor was installed.

✅ OEM replacement O₂ sensors
✅ OEM replacement LF wheel-speed sensor
✅ Exhaust O₂ sensor thread repair
✅ Live-data ABS diagnosis

New parts don’t always mean good parts. Diagnose first. Replace what’s actually failed.
