🚗 Monday reminder: The cheapest new car is the one you already own — if you take care of it.

At Son Ray’s we do high-quality work at honest prices so you keep more of what you earn and stay off the side of the road. Protect what you have. It still beats a payment.

🛑 End-of-month brake check: If you’ve been hearing that little chirp “only when it’s damp,” that’s pads talking.

Grinding means you’re already into the rotors — and that’s when the bill jumps. We measure what’s left, show you the parts, and give you options. Fix what’s needed. Skip what isn’t.

🚗 Let’s talk real-world math. A decent used car still costs a fortune, and the payment eats the grocery budget. If your current ride is solid except for the engine, we can put a quality replacement in it and give you that “like new” feel without the loan.

Same car you already know. Thousands less than buying again. Honest quote, quality work, no games. That’s been the Son Ray’s way for over 30 years.

🚗 Did You Know? A dirty engine air filter makes the engine work harder and drink more fuel. Same story with a clogged cabin filter — weak airflow and that stale smell. Both are cheap fixes.

Both get ignored until they’re not cheap anymore. We’ll check them while you’re here and only change what’s actually due.

🚗 Last full week of October. Winter is not a rumor anymore. The smart play when cash is tight is catching the small stuff now — battery, brakes, fluids, tires — so you’re not paying emergency prices in December.

At Son Ray’s you get straight answers and fair work. That’s how you stay on the road without emptying the account.

🔥 First chilly morning and the heater blows lukewarm? Fog that won’t clear? That’s not “just October.”

Weak heat or a lazy defroster can mean low coolant, a stuck blend door, or a heater core starting to fail.

Fixing it now is a lot cheaper than driving with a fogged windshield in November rain. We’ll diagnose it straight and quote it fair.

🚗 Did You Know?

Coolant that looked fine in July can lose freeze protection by October.

A simple strength test tells us if it’s still doing its job — or if a flush is actually needed.

We don’t sell flushes for sport. We test first, then tell you the truth. That’s the difference when money is tight.

🛑 Wet leaves are basically nature’s oil slick. Brakes that felt “fine” on dry summer pavement can feel late when the roads get slick. Squeal, grind, vibration, or a soft pedal?

Don’t wait for the first hard stop in the rain. We inspect honestly, explain the options, and only fix what’s actually worn — prices that respect a tight month.
