The first year for The Challenge at the Berville Power sports weekend was a great success!

This year’s winner was our very own Jordan Pitcher. His dually started off strong throwing down an impressive 1641 hp and 2182 tq. These numbers put him in the number one spot for highest hp Duramax and at the top of the leaderboard for highest horsepower of the day.

Jordan was able to go through the rounds in the open diesel dirt drags and came out victorious. He was also able to secure the fastest time of the day.

Going 1-1 in the competition secured him the overall win!

Easily the tightest and best race of the night at the Berville Powersports weekend. Shop Truck vs Jordan Pitcher’s dually. Both trucks ran almost identical times all day, staying within .04 seconds of each other. When put head to head, there was an unfortunate error with the timing system so it did not pick up the finish times and the announcer let the crowd pick their favorite as the winner. Jordan’s dually was crowned victorious. I sense a rematch will be in the future!

With finally getting the shop truck dialed in, it was time to put her up on the Hawk Performance Diesel LLC dyno and see where we were at. 1217 hp and 2005 tq! We’re happy with this baseline and know theres more in the tank 😎

The Berville Lions Club Powersports weekend has officially come to a close and what a weekend it was! We are committed to help make this event bigger every year and so far we have been successful at doing so!

This was our first event running dirt drags with a new timing system/program. There was a learning curve to everything that can only be figured out by jumping in and doing it. We can't thank everyone enough for their patience while we worked the bugs out. We certainly look forward to hosting more events in the very near future so definitely keep an eye out as information will be released soon!

A big big thanks to the Lions club members who worked the track to make it the best it could possibly be after the storm had come through, our team of guys from the shop helping run the event, and family and friends that jumped in to help. We could not have pulled this off without everyone who lent a hand when it was needed.

We greatly appreciate all the competitors that came out and the crowd that was cheering everyone on. After mother nature throwing us a curve ball with the rain causing delays and the schedule getting pushed back later than anticipated, we thank you for sticking with us and being good sports.

Planning is already underway for the 2027 event (July 16-18)! If you have any feedback you would like to share, please feel free to do so as we take everything into consideration for the following year.

It’s finally time for the 48th Annual Berville Lions Powersports Weekend (July 17-19, 2026)!

In preparation for this weekend’s event, the shop will be CLOSED today. Normally business hours will resume on Monday.

We can’t wait to see everyone out at the Lions club slinging dirt and laying down the power!
