e decades ago by building what is today a world class recycling infrastructure. While others were investing in landfills to bury trash, we focused on materials processing centers which today help to move thousands of tons of recyclable materials per year. Our investment in Alternative Fuel Vehicles and Fueling Stations also helps to clean up the air throughout Southern California by allowing us to run clean burning natural gas vehicles. Our latest venture includes the construction of a state of the art Anaerobic Digester which will allow us to process organic waste from throughout the region and create a renewable natural gas to fuel our trucks. CR&R Incorporated is dedicated to finding ways to help improve our world by investing in the future; a future we hope will be cleaner, greener and environmentally sustainable.

Did you know not all textiles belong in your recycling cart?

Before tossing old clothing, shoes, or household textiles, ask yourself: can it be reused?

Donate: Gently used textiles such as clothing, shoes, linens, and rugs can often be donated to a local thrift store.

Discard: Damaged or heavily worn textiles should be placed in your black landfill cart.

🚛Every day after school, a young boy from Loma Linda and his family stop by our yard to watch the trucks he loves so much.

Our drivers noticed his excitement and decided to make his day extra special by showing him a truck, putting together a goodie bag, snapping photos, and having the drivers honk their truck horns for him.

His family’s gratitude was overwhelming, and it’s a reminder that what we do goes beyond collection routes and service days—we’re part of the communities we serve.

This past month, CR&R was proud to support the Canyon Lake Community Clean-Up, helping residents responsibly dispose of unwanted items while keeping the community clean and beautiful.

The event featured compost giveaways, e-waste collection, and household hazardous waste disposal, giving residents convenient and environmentally responsible ways to reduce waste and protect local resources.

As we wrap up a busy month of May, we’re reflecting on the many moments that remind us why community matters. 👏🌎♻️

One of this month’s highlights was joining the students at Alice Birney Elementary School in Colton for Kindergarten Career Day. Our driver, Jose, had the opportunity to share what it’s like to work in the waste and recycling industry and inspire the next generation to keep our communities clean and safe.

‼️Please be advised that the Bulky Item Drop-Off Event originally scheduled for May 30th has been postponed.

This postponement is due to the delayed holiday service schedule, combined with the recent chemical tank emergency in Garden Grove that required the evacuation of CR&R’s operating facilities.

We will notify the community once a new date has been confirmed. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue prioritizing the safety of our employees, customers, and surrounding communities.

🚨TRASH SERVICE UPDATE🚨

CR&R has notified the City that customers who had previously scheduled bulky item pick up or cart replacement service for this week will be contacted directly with a new collection date.

Normal pick ups for this week will continue to be delayed one day due to the holiday.

Please contact CR&R at 800-826-9677 for specific service questions related to your properties.

CR&R street sweeping services are anticipated to be completed today, May 27, as scheduled and any missed service locations will resume as normal next week.

There will be no ticketing enforcement today, May 27. Effective tomorrow, May 28, sweeping and ticketing enforcement operations will resume as normal.

♻️ Due to the Memorial Day holiday, trash and recycling collection will remain delayed by one day for the remainder of the week.
