Auto detailers out there, know your worth! Charging $50, $80, around $100 or so for full details with shampooing, you are majorly undercharging yourself. It's one thing to want to save customers money, but if I've heard from one customer, I can guarantee I've heard it from over 100 that cheap prices scare them away because they honestly don’t know the quality of work they are getting. We talking about us as professional detailers, use top-quality products, chemicals, etc., and they're not cheap; we spend multiple hours sometimes on vehicles!
So, once again, know your worth. If you think your work is worth $60 or $120, then that's who you are. But if you honestly feel like your work is worth $200+ and your work proves it, then don’t be afraid to charge it. Don’t give a steak-quality job for a hamburger price. There are going to be “I can do it cheap, I can do it for $50 or $100” type detailers out there. If you know your worth, separate yourselves; quantity and quality are two different things. I would rather produce quality work than quantity, and most of the time, in my experience of over 15 years, quality work is worth more than $100.
