🍂 Switching to mulching blades for fall? Don't strip your spindle bolt!

Mark and Jordan from Coffman Outdoors have a quick seasonal tech tip. A lot of people run the blade bolt in with an impact wrench. It spins in fast, picks up momentum, and can strip the last few threads, which turns a 10-minute blade swap into a spindle repair.

✅ The right way:
🔧 Put a little drop of anti-seize on the threads
🔧 Run the bolt in slowly until it seats, not all at once with the impact
🔧 Finish with a torque wrench (check your owner's manual for your model)

A torque wrench doesn't cost much, and it's a lot cheaper than a new spindle. Then you're ready to go mulch up those leaves. 🍁

Need mulching blades, anti-seize or a hand with your blade swap? Stop by the shop in Sullivan or give us a call! 📍
