How many people would like to see a Demolition Derby return to Gassaway Days?

For many years, our family was proud to sponsor and help put on the derby, and it was always one of the biggest attractions of the weekend. Unfortunately, it eventually came to an end after the town and committee determined they could no longer afford the liability costs associated with the event.

After seeing this year’s attendance and hearing so many people say they miss what Gassaway Days used to be, we’ve been wondering if it’s time to start the conversation about bringing the derby back.

Our goal isn’t to criticize anyone—it’s to help bring Gassaway Days back to what so many of us remember: a weekend that brought the community together and drew people from all over the area.

So let us know:
