2018 Mustang in for some fresh paint because the California sun did a number on the original decals and cooked the glue into the paint. Then another shop tried to sand and or remove the stripe this wrecked havoc all over.

Well lets dive into the project and get this car all fixed up so the owners can enjoy it.

First we removed the front windshield to make sure we get the proper repair on the upper section. Next we disassembled the rear section on trunk. and got to the prep and paint work on the heavily damaged areas. after that was all done the new glass was installed.

We Teamed up with local business Tint and had them lay some new vinyl graphic as requested by the owners and for some new ceramic tint on the glass.

After the new vinyl was installed the car received a complete hand wash, decontamination , and clay then a full polishing, our 3 year Ceramic coating package and interior cleaning along with our 1 year Ceramic Window coating.

now this car is ready to drop the top and cruise! enjoy

1999 was a great year for this roof, but the past 27 years haven’t been as kind. Lets fix that and give this hood the proper repair.

First thing lets remove the 20+ layers of paint primer and everything else underneath the failed paint.

Next we are going to prime this fiberglass hood down with a feather fill a special primer specifically for fiberglass.

After this was done the hood was blocked and a urethane primmer was applied. We then let it cure for about a week and in the sun

Full sand blocked down and prepped for paint.

Final wipe down and inspection.

Spray down some sealer, base coat, and three coats of clear.

Next a little wet sand to remove a couple little bit of dirt that traveled into the clear and it was followed by a heavy compound, full polish to a nice and shiny finish

Client brought his vehicle down and we got it all installed.

It has been busy as always here at Apex stacking up projects that we have finished just no time to post anything.

Lets start with this Dodge Ram Ignition orange paint

First was to get the Bumper replaced , it was all rusted and giving it a bad look.

After a brand new bumper the truck was detailed up nothing crazy.
We did a full interior detail followed by an exterior wash clay and a 1year Ceramic on the exterior paint.

Complete foam cannon hand wash
Clay to remove impurities before polishing
2 step polish to remove oxidization bring back that shine
Topcoat Ceramic sealant to finish it off.

As 2025 comes to an end, We want to say thank you for bringing your projects down and letting us get them all fixed up and looking great again. Thanks for swinging down and hanging out when you were just thinking of passing by. Here is to 2026 , it is going to be huge! So we hope you stay along for the ride! Happy new year!

I definitely have been slacking in the social media section. but dont worry, we are hard at work. May be time to hire a social media content manager to help with posting and managing all this.

For now here is one of the large projects we just got finished up with. This was a fun experience, airplane Glider wings 30ft long each that means 60ft per wing. along with all the smaller parts that go along with it.
This paint was in very rough shape. So first off, we start removing all the old checking paint and get down to the base.
After everything was stripped down. We applied a White epoxy, any dark colors will actually heat up the panel and can mess with the materials.

After the epoxy stages were done, we guide coated the epoxy, blocked it down and applied a High build primer making sure it was straight.
We then followed another blocking session knowing we had it all dialed in final prime
Everything was wet sand followed by white base and clear coat.

Spring time we will get it all assembled do a final polish and Ceramic coat it make sure we get every bit out of these new wings!
