Smothers Supercars We build ALL makes MUSCLECAR STREET/STRIP DRIVETRAINS specializing in blue printed engines, race transmissions, front end rebuilds and suspension set ups.

We make people’s dreams come true…Muscle car/drivetrain restoration, transmission overhaul/repair, carb rebuilds, EFI and carb tuning, ground up restorations, engine building, window tint installation… We build MUSCLEcars, not mundane cars. If you want a Musclecar that coughs and sputters on and off a car hauler, take your car somewhere else, there are plenty of other shops already building engine

s like that. We do carburetor rebuilds, distributor curving and tuning with an Oxygen sensor. We teach basic engine rebuilding which includes covering what “blue printing” is, how to degree a camshaft, measuring for pushrod length, how to adjust valves, how to time an engine to fire the first time, how to figure out how much timing your engine wants at idle and Wide Open Throttle, how to tune vacuum advance, etc. We teach transmission rebuild classes with whatever transmission you want. Most people want to learn 700R4’s so that’s what I usually teach. You’ll learn about the weak links, how to fix them and how to stall converters work and how to choose one.
