Apex and linkable or standard and linkable is the question

Apex fitted with the XL80 and Amber S1 is a 80/20 kit.. 80% off-road light and 20% fog light. Designed for distance and max output

While the standard kit uses the Squadron 2.0 and S2 for a more balanced kit.. more of a 60/40 split
Max fog output and added distance for extra punch when needed.
