Does your engine let out a loud SCREECH for 10 seconds when you start it on a chilly morning? That's your serpentine belt slipping on a weak tensioner pulley! Cold air makes aging rubber stiff, causing it to lose grip on your alternator and power steering pulleys. Catching a worn belt early keeps you from getting stranded with a snapped belt down the road!

October is National Car Care Month! If you haven’t done a fall checkup yet, don’t sweat it. There’s still plenty of time to get your vehicle ready before winter. Taking care of small things now (like testing your battery, topping off fluids, and setting tire pressures) saves you from big, expensive surprises later. Consider this your friendly reminder!

"I had a European car mechanic for 20 years, and then he retired 🙁. We all know how hard it is to find that trusted mechanic — well, look no further! Mike at Twilight Auto is not only 100% well versed in European auto repair, he’s also extremely honest, fair priced, looks for the actual issue and gives you a snapshot of any issues you may need down the road. I’m grateful to have done my research and made the right choice in Twilight Auto."
