Just because you can replace the pads doesn’t mean you should ignore the rotors.
We were called out for a brake replacement, and our service advisor had already recommended replacing both the pads and rotors multiple times.
Once our technician arrived and inspected the condition of the rotors, we strongly recommended replacing them again due to the excessive wear.
Unfortunately, the customer declined.
We respected their decision, but made it clear that proceeding with pads only would mean our standard brake warranty would not apply to this repair. Additional paperwork was signed acknowledging the risks.
Quality isn’t just about what you replace. It’s about what you’re willing to stand behind.
