We are just under one month away from the first annual Great Northwest Motofest. We are extremely excited to head into Port Angeles, WA for a weekend full of moto-camping, beautiful riding, yard games, live music from CRIMEWAVE 66 and a ton of fun. Tickets for the 21+ event can be found on the Biltwell website. Camping is festival style, you pick a spot and stake your claim. We will allow RV’s, Trucks, etc but there will be an additional fee upon arrival for those vehicles. We have a small number of vending spaces still open for the weekend. Our friends at LiveWire Electric Motorcycles loaned us this S2 Del Mar a couple of months ago, and it’s been an absolute blast ripping around the city. I’ve put more than 500 miles on it using it as my daily ride for everything in and around town.

When the weekend rolls around and it’s time to disappear into the middle of nowhere, the gas bikes are still the go-to. But after living with this thing for a while, I can absolutely see an electric bike earning a spot in the garage alongside the rest. -Davin

We hope you’ll join us this year in Kernville on October 2nd-4th. We are extremely excited to announce that we’ve streamlined some things and were able to LOWER entry price for the event compared to 2025. Gives you a few extra bucks to head out to the local bars, restaurants and general store while still getting all the fun the Kampout has to offer. Live Music TBD. From the builders, to those who voted, and the hundreds of people that showed up to Cook's Corner to help us crown the champ you all made this the best year yet. The bikes were outstanding but the people were even better. We look forward to doing it again next year!

NWMF: AUG 7-8, 2026.

There is soooo much to do on the Olympic Peninsula when you come for Motofest. Of course we will have games, some amateur racing, live music with and more, but you gotta get out and ride to a few spots.

Hurricane Ridge is a gorgeous 17 mile ride to the top of the Olympics where there are hikes and views for miles. Start early to avoid waiting at the entrance and if you are a Vet, get your parks pass so it’ll be free.

Salt Creek has a great hiking trail, free parking and good beachcombing at low tide. On the west side of it is Crescent Bay. Check in to camping in either location if you wanna extend your trip.

Lake Crescent lodge is a great place to grab a drink and chill, or beat the crowds by bringing your own and hanging at the beach for free. You can rent kayaks, SUP’s and canoes here too.

On the other side of the lake, there’s a mellow 1 mile hike to the bridge over Devil’s Punchbowl. It’s worth the walk for sure.

Hike to Sol Duc falls. Easy hike through old growth forest to an incredible set of falls. When you get back to the lodge you can soak in the hot springs too. Make reservations there before your hike so you don’t have to wait around. There is also food and drink here.

Most of all, pick some backroads and ride em. Cut across from Lake Crescent to Joyce. Short cut from Hurricane Ridge to the Elwha River on Little River Rd. (Rough but doable) Ride out to the Ediz Hook in Port Angeles. There’s a ton to explore and no way you’ll do it all in a couple days but you can see enough to realize you wanna come back!
