We're proud to announce that Precision Auto Body is now certified for repairs on the Chevrolet C8.
To achieve and maintain Chevrolet Corvette C8 certification, collision repair shops must enroll in the GM Collision Repair Network (CRN). Because of the C8’s unique mid-engine layout, aluminum-intensive structure, and carbon fiber components, specific standards and specialized equipment are required to guarantee crash-performance safety.
Our certification ensures we meet all necessary requirements, including:
- Specialized Training: Our technicians have completed specialized training, including I-CAR's Collision Repair of the 2020-26 General Motors (GM) Corvette C8, covering advanced materials and attachment methods.
- Dedicated Aluminum Workspaces: We utilize dedicated aluminum repair spaces equipped with approved dust extraction systems to prevent cross-contamination.
- Approved Fixture Systems: Our facility uses GM-approved C8 fixture and holding sets to maintain exact dimensional tolerances.
- Advanced Equipment: We use specific required tooling, such as countersink cutter kits, precision welders, flow-drill screws, and impact-resistant structural adhesives.
- ADAS Diagnostics & Calibration: We have the diagnostic tools necessary to recalibrate the C8's driver assistance systems, including blind spot detection, rear cross-traffic, and backup cameras.
- OEM Parts Utilization: We strictly use genuine GM and Corvette structural and cosmetic parts to maintain original factory warranties and crash ratings.
Please let us know if we can assist you with any repair needs.
