Some vehicles come in with obvious or critical issues that MUST be repaired before we can even begin the diagnostic process.

Those repairs are NOT included in diagnostic time. They are separate repairs necessary to perform proper, accurate diagnostics.

If you want your vehicle diagnosed correctly, listen to the professionals you're paying to diagnose it.

We're plenty busy at Empire Automotive. We don't need to invent unnecessary repairs or create extra work.

We have procedures for a reason. We're here to fix vehicles correctly, not cut corners.

Transmission milkshake, and we as a shop will not be apart of the problem.

This is exactly why we don’t let anyone outside the shop dictate how a job is handled. Skipping inspections and proper procedures creates unnecessary problems and more work.

Too many shops compromise their standards and pay the price. Our policies and procedures are in place for a reason. We stand by them, it protects the shop and allows us to do the best job possible for the customer. If there’s pushback, take it somewhere else. We were able to do what was needed in this case, and thankfully we did because this was our findings.

Milkshake transmission fluid (possible cooler failure)
Rust and trash in the pan.
No magnet in the pan.
Mismatched pan hardware.
Stripped out threads for the pan bolts.

Time to gain a new life long customer and do it right.

This is how an engine bay should look after repairs!

At Empire Automotive, we take pride in the details. Every engine bay we work on gets cleaned before the vehicle leaves our shop. Not only does it look better, but a clean engine bay makes it easier to identify and monitor potential leaks or other issues down the road.

Quality work goes beyond the repair itself. It's the little things that make a difference!

Long video, but worth the watch.

I’ve preached about this issue for years, and we’ve corrected it countless times. Unfortunately, this truck didn’t make it to us before a previous repair resulted in catastrophic engine failure, requiring a complete engine replacement.

There’s a reason Empire Automotive comes highly recommended for both diesel and gasoline repairs. Knowledge, experience, and attention to detail matter. Knowing how to identify and prevent failures is just as important as knowing how to fix them.

Sometimes the difference between a simple repair and an engine replacement is knowing what you’re doing.

The man, the myth, the legend…Justin Dillard!
He can fix any truck, he can fix any car, and he can put you on the fish and have you limiting out before you know it!
I’ve never met a better team player or someone more willing to step up and get the job done. His work ethic, knowledge, and dedication are second to none.
Justin, you’re a huge part of what makes Empire Automotive what it is today. Whether you want to accept the recognition or not, you're getting it!
The entire shop appreciates you more than you know. Thank you for everything you do, brother!

Sincerely,
Marc Sheppard and the Empire Automotive team.
