Leaves, branches, pumpkins. Three piles, three destinations.
Fall cleanup goes wrong in one specific way: everything ends up in one pile. Then the whole thing has to be handled as garbage, including the leaves that could have been composted.
The sort that works:
1. Clean yard debris: leaves, branches, pumpkins (candle out), garden clippings. This goes to the yard-debris stream and gets composted.
2. Treated wood: fence boards, deck scraps, treated planters. Garbage.
3. Everything else: bagged trash, broken pots, the tarp. Garbage.
Keep the piles apart before you load, or point them out when we arrive and we'll keep them apart for you. Send a photo of the pile for a firm quote. Tigard, Beaverton, Sherwood, Lake Oswego and the west side: (503) 455-7920
