Checking tire pressure and tread, changing fluids according to the manufacturer’s schedule, inspecting brakes and batteries, and keeping the roof, seals, and exterior clean can help prevent small maintenance issues from becoming larger repairs. It is also important to run the plumbing, electrical, propane, appliances, and other onboard systems regularly, especially if the RV has been sitting for an extended period. Keeping a simple maintenance record can help you remember when each system was last inspected and when upcoming service is due.
