🚨 SPE EMPLOYEES STAGE INTERVENTION FOR SHOP OWNER 🚨
“Austin, we need to talk.”
Those five words marked the beginning of what was supposed to be a very serious intervention at Steinhafel Precision Engines. 😂
The topic? Austin’s inability to stop buying machines.
The crew gathered around. Everyone had their concerns prepared. This was their chance to finally get through to him.
Crew: “Austin, you have a problem.”
Austin: “I know. We couldn’t line bore in-house.”
Crew: “THAT’S NOT WHAT WE MEANT.” 🤦♂️
Apparently, while everyone else was busy working, Austin decided SPE needed another piece of equipment.
And not just any equipment.
A LINE BORING MACHINE. 🔥
When asked why he thought this was necessary, Austin proceeded to give a 30-minute presentation on main bearing tunnel alignment, precision machining, and the benefits of expanding our in-house capabilities.
By the end of the meeting, the crew had completely forgotten why they were there.
Kyle was asking when they could start using it.
Seth wanted to know what was coming next.
And Austin?
Austin was already looking at more equipment. 💀😂
Unfortunately, the intervention was a complete failure.

This two-part machining process allows us to correct main bearing tunnel alignment and bring the main bores to their proper finished dimensions.
Another service added to the lineup. Another investment in the shop. And another reason we probably shouldn’t give Austin unrestricted access to machinery listings.
The crew has requested a follow-up intervention.
Austin has declined to comment. 😂
