Summer Water Safety Tips 🛟

We are lucky to have some of the cleanest freshwater in the world, but peak summer heat means we have to be smart boaters! When the shallow waters warm up in July, things like swimmer's itch or seasonal algae blooms can pop up near the shorelines.

Our pro tip for staying clear of it? Head for the deep water! Cruise out past the shallows where the water is moving, deep, and beautifully refreshing.

Always towel off right after you get out of the lake, and keep an eye on local watershed reports before you dip. Have fun out there! 🧼
