I keep a rolling business slush fund for machine/tool upgrades. Some machines are more permanent long term use, others are good enough until the next opportunity arises. Well, I wanted a super solid shop press for a while. The one I currently have was a nice stepping stone... I was able to work out a great deal on this "Warranteed Open Box" 220v single phase 25 ton electric/hydraulic Shop Press with a fully welded H-frame. It is substantial at 700 ...Can't wait for its arrival!

Daily hydraulic press usage in the shop. This one was modified with a heavy duty welded on steel top press block + 20T air over hydraulic ram + casters at base. Used mainly for crankshaft work to bending the parts we make and sell. One day we will probably add a space friendly cnc press brake for the parts creation side of the business.

End of week tech tip - Kickstarting and Needed Clutch Adjustments

Feels like your Honda z50 ct70 etc engine has no compression or slipping/inconsistencies while trying to kickstart it?

Try adjusting your clutch (with flat head, not phillips lol!) next and see if you can get improvement...

Marpol C106 Heavy Cut bar finish is great, no additional polishing stages were done.... Used 3m 180, then 3m 320 blue radial bristle wheel, lastly cut with marpol. 2 minute processing time for each cover for those results.
