The cleaning of engine parts is the most time consuming part of an engine restoration. Anything that helps refine the process is welcome in this shop. That is why I have multiple v***r cabinets and a dry blast cabinet to stage the cleanup process from aggressive to final touch...

Nice improvement/upgrade feature that will allow the dry blast cabinet to run more efficiently.

Vibratory unit - spec is input needed of Dc 12v, 30 watt, 3 amps. Simple wall charger with those specs will do the job. Bought all off amazon.com a few years ago and finally completed the needed cord extension with lamp cord. Forgot about this thing until a week ago when I found it in a box.

1968 K0 Honda Z50 Mini Trail Bike Repairs
Scarlet Red and White

The engine was pulled and rebuilt (kickshaft broken among it also being tired and leaky). Had to re-weld its steering stop and touch up paint it. Next step is to re-install fresh engine and give it a few laps around the industrial complex.

The serviced Honda QA50 cylinder heads are holding pressure nicely with the modified valve seat stone setup. We test all the various heads with a pressure leak test (Picture provided to each customer for their records) to verify a great valve seat/valve face seal before shipping back to their respective owners.

Working on a QA50 cylinder head valve seat cleanup tooling setup. Had Neway Mfg out of MI make a set of custom very small seat cutters but the cement failed to hold carbide cutters unfortunately. The valve faces are 16mm and chamber wall is very close making it an extremely tight area to fit tooling into. Now looking at a solution from another angle. Making some small grinding stones work with a kwik way stone dresser jig. Need the kwik way tool to dress seat angles into out of box stones. Looks good so far. Next will be to see if the refreshed 45 seat and new valve faces pass the pressure leak down down...

This makes me excited about a build!
These popped up 35 minutes from the shop and I was able to secure them after work today. I Started looking a couple months ago for this long discontinued Xtreme typhoon racing quad to use as starting point for a custom full suspended Honda atc70 build. They were unique, as they used a pitbike main frame similar to a Honda CRF70 style dirtbike frame, then the company got into quads and added a bolt on quad front end + a quad swingarm/rearend. This all equals a good starting point for a mini suspended trike conversion. I was able to grab a whole Xtreme typhoon quad and another xtreme typhoon that had started a trike conversion using a Honda ATC70 welded steering neck/ which includes the ATC70 frame VIN. The previous owner installed a disc brake suspended front triple tree commonly used on the atc70s. These will get quality attention and adjustments from our shop to get them across the finish line.
