📦 Packing Hacks of the Week

Here are some packing hacks so your storage space can be utilized properly:

1. Disassemble large furniture to save valuable space. Keep screws and hardware in labeled bags taped to the furniture.
2. Store items vertically whenever possible, including mattresses, couches, and tables, to maximize floor space.
3. Use uniform-sized boxes so they stack securely and make better use of vertical storage.
4. Fill every box completely to prevent crushing, but avoid overpacking heavy items.
5. Pack heavy items in small boxes and lighter items in larger boxes for easier lifting.
6. Use wardrobe boxes to keep clothes wrinkle-free and save time when moving.
7. Wrap mirrors and artwork with moving blankets or bubble wrap, and always store them upright—not flat.
8. Take advantage of empty spaces inside drawers, suitcases, laundry baskets, and appliances by filling them with smaller items.
9. Label every box clearly with its contents and the room it belongs in for easier organization.
10. Leave a small walkway inside your storage unit so you can access items without unpacking everything.
