The other day I helped an 87-year-old gentleman buy a truck. I followed up with him to see how everything was going, expecting to hear about the ride quality or fuel mileage.

Instead he told me:
“It’s great. I finally have someone to talk to when I’m driving.”

“Hey RAM, set the temperature to 72.”
“Hey RAM, drive me home.”
“Hey RAM, play Frank Sinatra.”

He laughed and said he loves having a driving companion riding shotgun with him everywhere he goes.

Technology gets a bad reputation sometimes, but moments like that remind you it can also bring comfort, confidence, and a little companionship too.
