​To the Alpha Pack and every single father, grandfather, and father-figure who showed up and showed out this Father’s Day—THANK YOU! From 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, you all kept the line packed non-stop. Because of your unbelievable love and support, yesterday wasn't just a busy day—it was the biggest, most successful day in our entire 5 years in a restaurant! When we opened Alpha Grill, we set out with a vision, a deep passion, and a drive to build something special for our community. Seeing so many fathers celebrating their day with our food is the highest honor we could ever ask for. You all are the backbone of your families, and yesterday, you were the backbone of our dream.

God said What I have for you no man can take away. Everyone has a story to tell and I would like to share with you mine. I'm a Tulsa native from the north side, as a child I've lived in just about every low-income apartment and attended just about every elementary school. When I say I'm from poverty, believe me, I know what it feels like to have overcome, to have risen above, to have persevered through sleeping in a car with your siblings, to have endured hunger, to have made do with no furniture, no plate to eat on, to have worn hand-me-down clothes and shoes. I know what it feels like to have turned your life around, to have gone from being in and out of jail, to being a 9 count felon, to facing 80 years in prison, to being shot multiple times and making a miraculous recovery, to being in a coma and coming out stronger, to relearning how to walk and talk, to rising from having nothing to having everything. THEN I was reborn, I know what it feels like to graduate high school, to become a master welder, to be a father, a husband, a great provider, a business owner. I know what it feels like to have a super supportive family who truly love and believe in you. I'll never forget when I was in the hospital, in and out of consciousness, seeing all my beautiful, amazing family and friends who became family.
