He was a true mentor to me and will always be my hero. I truly enjoy working on air cooled VWs and building aircooled VW engines.

This 6” beast makes short work on decking cylinder heads on the vertical milling machine

A little trouble shooting and getting a set of 44s dialed in. Vacuum leak on the head side of the intake manifold due to rough machining surface area. Cleaned it up and now’s she’s purring.

A little cylinder leak down pressure test to check the piston ring seal and cylinder head to cylinder seal, and valve seat seal on each cylinder.

A little vertical milling machine work today at the Krankenhaus. We added a Z Axis power feed to our vertical milling machine. Saves cranking the handle all the time.
