More progress on the El Camino this weekend.

427" sbc is in. Flexplate installed, custom stall converter installed in a built stage1 . Transmission is in with a g body 4l80e crossmember and trans mount. tubular rear arms are in to better support the ford 9" rear. Still need to install their rear swaybar and tubular upper and lower front a arms.

Progress is steady even with the amount of traveling I've been doing. Can't wait till I can fire this thing up and hear it for the first time irl. Big thanks to Dan, Chris, and Mike for the assistance this weekend!

Been a while since I gave an El camino update.

350sbc and 700r4 trans are out and sold.
finished the Ford 9" and got it picked up Friday. Saturday / Sunday I got the old rear end out and the new rear end in. Acquired a stage 1 4l80e. Got the 4l80e crossmember bolted in and the trans mocked up to it to order the new driveshaft. So close to being on the final stretch on this one. Getting excited

The after result from when we Installed this style high-kick duckbill in beautiful 2x2 weave on the . Install was as simple as 1-2-3 and we couldn't be happier with how it came out. Shout out to for getting it here quick, fast, and in a hurry. Up next, the new sti front lip to replace the one that shattered drifting a sweeper at the event 2 weeks ago.

Spring has started to sprung and as a result we decided it was time to take off the winter tires, but rather than have a tire shop swap the rubber 2x a year we opted to just get some summer wheels for the wrx. Went with the -5 in matte bronze, and couldn't be happier with how they look. New sti lip and sti style high-kick spoiler in carbon fiber get here tomorrow!
