The CBJ Streets & Fleets division is removing more snow from the roads tonight 🌨 If you have a vehicle parked on Fourth Street (Franklin Street to Gold Street) or Main Street (Seventh Street to Fourth Street), make sure to move it before 11 p.m. today, March 10.

We have recently seen an increase in "roadside assistance" companies calling for services. These are companies customers find when searching online- not a local company. Very often the customer is overcharged for services. If the roadside assistance company asks for payment upfront, it is likely one of these companies. We don't want to see anyone overcharged for services. If you're not calling the number on your insurance card, PLEASE call us at 907-723-7660, or one of the other Juneau tow companies.

Rapidly deteriorating road conditions! Keeping it slow, keeps you safe.

In the past hour JPD has received several reports of vehicles crashing or going into the ditch. Vehicles are still flying by as officers are working wrecks. Make it a goal today to not be the next. Be safe Juneau!

When a vehicle with flashing lights is stopped on or next to a roadway, drivers approaching the vehicle should:
- change into a lane not immediately adjacent to the vehicle, or
- slow down to a reasonable speed if you’re unable to safely make a lane change.

All 50 states have "Move Over" laws to protect law enforcement officers and other first responders stopped on roadways, yet many people are not aware of these laws. Violation of the Move Over law results in fines and in some cases jail time

Remember, next time you see flashing lights on the side of the road or roadside workers, Move Over. It’s the Law.
