I really need to do a direct comparison between the baddest brushed fans and SPAL’s brushless stuff because there really is no comparison! But this old video will have to do for now.

There also seems to be some confusion about how they’re wired and controlled, but it’s actually very simple:
Constant battery power and ground -> STRAIGHT TO THE BATTERY, then a PWM signal controls fan speed. That’s it!
The “relay” is “built in” to the fan itself!

These SPAL BRUSHLESS fans are hard to find but we stock the common sizes: 10” 14” 16” and we can get most of the others quickly.

And newsflash⚡️… a Kaizen Relay Control Module can control UP TO THREE FANS - BRUSHED AND BRUSHLESS.
