We couldn’t have asked for a better day, still in shock!

One of my core childhood memories was when my dad brought me out to the airport to see the Air Force Thunderbirds at Hanscom Air Force Base outside of Boston. Watching the Thunderbirds roar skyward in their diamond formation in a clear blue sky was a sight to behold and is a memory that I will never forget.

Now, so many years later, having the chance to fly alongside Sam Larson in Thunderbird #8 almost 3,000 miles from home feels very symbolic of just how far my career has taken me. Flying around the globe and with so many incredible friends are what makes aviation and airshows so amazing!

I can’t thank the Air Force Thunderbirds enough for this special honor and privilege, and for making a kid’s (me) dream come true. I am so very grateful for the opportunities I have been given, and I can only hope that I will be able to contribute to the success of the next generation of air show performers in a meaningful way.

As we know, the heartbeat of any single engine aerobatic airplane is its engine and propeller combination. As a performer, it gives us the confidence and performance to operate at the highest level we can. For more than 20 years, I have only trusted Lycoming Thunderbolt engines, Champion Aerospace products, and the Hartzell propeller. No other combination is better.
