Audi is back. The new Nuvolari brings nearly 1,000 horsepower from a hybrid twin turbo V8, active aerodynamics, and production limited to 499 cars worldwide. While it may not wear the R8 name, Audi is clearly returning to the supercar arena in a big way.
We're also seeing some interesting design cues up front that feel inspired by the legendary Sport Quattro, giving the car a distinctly Audi identity rather than simply being another exotic. Is this a worthy successor to the R8?
