Yesterday, our team experienced a frightening situation when a brush fire that started along the freeway quickly spread onto our dealership property, threatening multiple vehicles on our lot.
First and foremost, we want to recognize and thank our incredible employees who ran toward the danger without hesitation. Their quick thinking and selfless actions helped move several vehicles to safety and prevented what could have been an even greater loss.
We are also deeply grateful to the Vacaville Fire Department, Vacaville Police Department, and the California Highway Patrol for their rapid response in bringing the situation under control.
A very special thank you goes out to the mystery firefighter from the San Francisco Fire Department who happened to be nearby and was truly the first person on scene. He immediately jumped into action and began fighting the fire on his own before additional crews arrived. Your courage and willingness to help did not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly thankful.
Because of the swift actions of everyone involved, what could have been a devastating event was significantly minimized. While there was property damage, we are extremely thankful that no one was injured.
To all of the first responders and good Samaritans who stepped up when it mattered most—thank you. Your bravery, teamwork, and dedication made all the difference.
