New white gelcoat with red webbing for this Carolina Skiff. The front and rear decks are fiberglass and had wood backing. The wood was rotten on both so there was no support. We replaced the wood with a 25lb fiberglass reinforced density composite board. Also added a built in trolling motor base on the front deck.

This Carolina skiff has been sitting for 6 years. Dad gave it to his son and now the son is having us refinish the interior. The front and rear decks had rotten wood on the under side. All bad material removed, replaced with composite and fiberglassed in place. Now for a full sanding and new gelcoat tomorrow. Completed pictures coming early next week.

This little skiff had a crack right down the middle of the hull. After cutting the floor open to do the internal repair we found that the bottom was way to thin. There was also no floatation foam which adds reinforcement as it expands between the hull and main floor. All problems solved with new materials. The floor was then reinstalled. The rear deck was closed off to create a fish box since space in limited. Transom was also to thin, so we doubled it up and glassed it in tight. New gelcoat tomorrow in a white with Black webbing.

Thank you Clay for trusting us to get you back on the water. The work on this boat was a little out of the norm. but turned out great. This is a homemade barge for hauling items to the island. We removed rhe damaged fiberglass and wood from the bottom and replaced the complete hull with composite materials, composite chines and four layers of fiberglass. While the bottom was off we found a few pieces of decomposed interior wood and replaced them. Repaired a portion of the side fiberglass that had delaminated and multiple gelcoat spots on the main floor. In order to flip this big rig over we had to unrig everything, including cutting the console loose from the floor and reinstalling. We topped it off with new dual Power Poles.

The front wood deck of this Shoalwater was rotten. Upon removal we found the wood that reinforced the front winch eye was also rotten and the hatch floor has delaminated from the hull. Areas in the hatch compartment were replaced and fixed prior to a new composite deck.

This Gulf Coast hit something that left two deep gouges in the bottom of the hull. While in the shop for those repairs, we were asked to repair some areas on back of the transom. All work is complete.
