So we have found a picture in the archived calendars at the Schuylerville library. We now know that Kings garage had the fuel pumps and they provided Tydol gasoline in 1935. We are still looking for any information or pictures on the history of these fuel pumps at 167 Broad st. And help is greatly appreciated. We are very greatful for all the amazing resources in our wonderful village.

Update on the renovation issues we've been facing at the garage and request for historical photos.
While digging to replace the driveway, a fuel storage tank or tanks were discovered. There is minimal information right now for us to go off of in regards to the history of these tanks. We are currently trying to get more details and photographs or documents that anyone may have of the gas station that is presumed to have been there. We know they likely had Sinclair Oil with a Dyno the Dinosaur "mascot". If you have photos to share or anything else of a garage on 165 or 167 Broad Street with the fuel pumps, please send them to us. We are specifically looking for anything with a name, logo, oil company, anything you have may that could help. Photos of parades, events or anything else you have might be helpful.

We want to say a huge thank you to the everyone at the village and the DEC for their help with all of this. They've been nothing but supportive and dedicated to helping us take care of this and get through the process. We couldn't do it without them. Also, thank you to our customers who are always so supportive and who have been calling to check in on us. We appreciate it so much.

Good morning folks! Things are moving along with the shop situation, the right people are helping take care of things. Until we are ready to move forward with further renovations, we are doing primarily mobile appointments for the time being. Of course, not everything can be done mobile but historically we have done alright 😆. Call or text us if youd like to schedule something. We appreciate you all so much! 😀

Christmas came early this week. Let me introduce you to our new card reader. Starting today our wonderful customers will no longer have to deal with quickbooks. Payments are now being processed through our shop software Tekmetric. It is all in one place now from estimate approval to work completion and payment processing. No more waiting or searching for an email from quickbooks. Its now as simple as paying right when you pick up your car. We are still able to send email and text message invoices with a payment link, but payment will be required at time of pickup one way or the other. Thank you all so much for growing with us.

Happy Sunday everyone!

We'll be sharing a more thorough post this week once we have the full details and we're ready to go. Our payment process is finally changing and for the better. We are in the process of setting this up and we expect to have things set up for customers to use within the next week or so. Ultimately, you will no longer have to deal with Quickbooks, instead, you will pay at the time of pickup through the shop software that we use for the repair orders and we will have a really nice card reader. We still do different methods, cash, card, check etc...just like before, only now it will be less frustrating. There's going to be a bit of a transition period and learning curve but everyone will be much happier. The biggest part of the change is that payment will be required and taken at the time of pickup and we will be reminding folks of that as we take appointments. Its one less thing for our customers to worry about and a couple steps we can eliminate on our end to make things move faster. Please let us know if you have any questions and we will keep you updated as we know more.
Thank you and have a great rest of your weekend!

We know youve been asking. Big things are coming. Hopefully in a few months we will be doing tires.

Quick PSA regarding recent confusion with the online payment process. 😀
We are aware of the updates the Quickbooks Online likes to implement and we aren't fans of them. One of the updates is causing some confusion so we'd like to explain it to folks.

When paying online through QB it will show you these images you see below, these were kindly provided by a customer so we have a visual to share.
When a customer enters their card information they will see these messages.
-The message with a checked box next to it is checked off by default. We would like to ask you to uncheck the box before submitting your payment. It just avoids further confusion and you do not need that feature anyway.
-Once you remove the check and the payment is submitted, it may give you a message to set up an account with a code from Intuit. You simply click the x and ignore it.

There is no need for any account and we do not store any payment information on our end. We have no access to it and we do not intend on it anytime in the future so please be assured that your information is not saved with us. Yes, this process is a bit obnoxious and we hope they change the format soon. To be very clear, everything is fine and there are no issues with any payments, this is just to clear up any confusion that people had. If anyone needs help with the process, just reach out :)
