Join us Saturday evening at 9:45 PM for an incredible fireworks spectacular presented by Pyroo Pyrotechnics

We're excited to celebrate with everyone and look forward to another great night at Walhonding Hills. To help everyone have the best, and safest experience, please take a moment to review the viewing map included with this post. It highlights the four designated viewing areas available to all campers. We ask that everyone enjoy the show from one of these designated areas.

For the safety of our campers, guests, and the Pyroo Pyrotechnics team, the north/south roadway adjacent to the launch area will be closed to all vehicle traffic during the fireworks display.

To avoid delays or road closures, please plan to be in your viewing area by 9:30 PM.

Thank you for helping us make this a safe and enjoyable event for everyone. We can't wait to light up the sky with you!

🇺🇸 Happy Fourth of July from Walhonding Hills Campground! 🇺🇸

As we celebrate America's 250th birthday, we wish all of our campers, families, and friends a safe, relaxing, and memorable Independence Day weekend.

We're grateful you've chosen to spend this historic holiday with us, and we hope your weekend is filled with great rides, campfires, laughter, and time spent making memories with family and friends.

While we celebrate our nation's 250 years of freedom, we also pause to honor the brave men and women whose service and sacrifice have made those freedoms possible. We are forever grateful to them and to their families.

From all of us at Walhonding Hills Campground, thank you for being part of our campground family and for helping make this such a special place to gather.

🇺🇸 Happy Fourth of July from Walhonding Hills Campground! 🇺🇸

From all of us at Walhonding Hills, thank you for choosing to spend your holiday weekend with us. We are grateful for the opportunity to host so many families and friends and hope you have a fun, relaxing, and safe Independence Day weekend.

As one of our busiest weekends of the season, we'd like to ask everyone to help us make this a great experience for all by being mindful, neighborly, and helping family members and guests who may not be familiar with our campground rules.

A few friendly reminders:

• Please make sure all guests are registered, have signed their liability waivers, and have their vehicles registered.

• Riders should have proof of insurance available, and all required safety equipment—including helmets where required—should be worn at all times.

• We expect the campground to be at or near capacity, so please be considerate with your electric and water usage to help our systems serve everyone throughout the weekend.

• Personal fireworks are not permitted anywhere in the campground. Any use of fireworks will result in loss of campground privileges and removal from the property. Sparklers and bang snaps are permitted for the kiddos.

Our goal is simple: we want everyone to have a healthy, safe, and memorable holiday weekend. The best camping communities are built on neighbors looking out for one another, respecting the rules, and treating the campground as if it were their own.

Thank you for helping make Walhonding Hills a place everyone can enjoy.

A Friendly Reminder from Walhonding Hills Campground

As we get ready for another great weekend at the campground, we'd like to ask everyone's help in keeping Walhonding Hills clean and enjoyable for all.

Please remember that batteries, automotive parts and fluids, furniture, appliances, hazardous materials, yard waste, and other prohibited items may not be disposed of in our dumpsters. These items require special disposal and can damage equipment, create safety hazards, are prohibited by our wastemanagement partner, and increase operating costs for everyone.

Unfortunately, our team recently had to remove several prohibited household and lawn items from the dumpster area. If these items belong to you, please stop by and pick them up so they can be disposed of properly and to avoid potential penalty.

Our dumpsters are provided as a convenience for normal household campground trash only. Your cooperation helps us keep the campground clean, safe, and operating efficiently for every camper.

Thank you for doing your part. We're excited to host everyone this weekend, and the best camping weekends are the ones where neighbors are neighborly, everyone looks out for one another, and we all take pride in the place we call home away from home.
