The original plastic intake had developed a crack causing a coolant leak. It was replaced with an aftermarket intake with upgraded aluminum coolant passage.

2015 Dodge journey.
Customer was having cooling problems,two mechanics had already replaced parts and could not give her a solid answer as to what was wrong with it.

After pressure testing the system we found no leaks. Followed by a combustion leak test to verify no damage had been caused to the cylinder heads from getting too hot we replaced the failed cooling fan assembly, as well as a failed cooling fan resistor, which was causing the low speed not to work. After filling with coolant and bleeding the system of air it is now back running smoothly.
