Classic example why the state of Missouri shouldn’t stop state inspections! Sometimes cars come in for a simple oil change, but they are in dangerous shape. The control arms in the video should not move.

Why is it important to have us change your air filter as needed?
Your engine has to have the correct mix of air and fuel to run properly and efficiently. This is very important to protect your engines internal components. This clogged air filter in the picture, was putting extra strain on the engine, which you definitely do NOT want.

We want to share some insight into a common, yet complex, issue regarding exhaust manifold bolts.
🍀The Cause: rust forms within your vehicle's mechanical components.
🍀Modern vehicles with compacted engine bays, only allow room for smaller bolts.
🍀Thermal Stress and Fatigue: Engines heat up rapidly, while the surrounding exhaust components warm gradually. This extreme temperature differential, combined with the natural shifting and vibration of the vehicle during travel, puts immense stress on the rusted bolts. Over time, this causes the rusted, weakened, bolt heads to shear off entirely. It may also cause the manifold to warp.
🍀Safety: Improper exhausted cars can be harmful to passengers.
The Repair Process
Extracting a broken bolt from such a confined, awkward space is a highly technical procedure.
To safely remove a sheared bolt, our technicians must precision-weld a new "head" onto the remaining fragment just to create a gripping surface for extraction. Furthermore, while working on one rusted bolt, it is common for adjacent rusted bolts to also snap.
While replacing a bolt may sound like a minor task, the reality of this repair requires specialized labor, patience, and precise engineering. The technical difficulty and the time required to complete the extraction safely, without damaging your engine head, makes it is a labor intensive job.
