Another back logged big project out!
This ZL1 Camaro came to us hit on the passenger side door so hard it moved the inner structure all the way to the seat. So here's what we did!
First we got a quarter cut from the junkyard and used it for the quarter panel and inner structures. The car was pulled, glass removed, interior out and cut open!
The floor pan needed some pulling aswell. But once that was straightened, were able to line up our new door, fender and quarter panel. Everything was welded into place and we were able to start the body work. We also ended up fixing damage on the front/ rear bumpers and trunklid aswell.
While we had everything torn apart, we smoothed the previously textured zl1 lip, side skirts, and diffuser! Those then were painted gloss black giving it a more classy look.
Also from the accident all 4 Forgiato wheels were damaged. So no better time to mount/balance some new nitto tires and fix the wheels! All done in house!
I couldn't be happier with how it turned out and am honored to be trusted with saving this hot rod!
