Tire-d of bad traction? 🚗💦 Regularly checking tread depth is a must! With a gauge, you'll find this reading is 6/32” - not bad, not great. New tires usually start at 10/32” to 11/32” (fresh out the box, baby! 🎁). But when it hits 4/32”, you're playing with fire on wet roads - grip, control, and braking performance all take a hit. No gauge? No problem! The Penny and Quarter tests are your BFFs. Stick a penny in upside down (Lincoln's head facing you, obvi) and if you see the top of his dome, it's time to replace those bad boys (2/32” or less, yikes!). Or, use a quarter with GW's face towards you - if you see the top of his head, it's 4/32” and you should probs replace them, just saying. 🤑
