It breaks our hearts to share this, but unfortunately we will not be at the Lewis County Fair this week.
My ongoing kidney issues took an unexpected turn, and I ended up back in the hospital this week with another kidney infection. My doctors have made it very clear that I need to stay put, rest and recover, so being at the fair just isn't possible this year.
We did everything we could to find coverage, but after exhausting every option, we simply couldn't make it happen. Typically, you see my mom and husband covering the booth, but Michael is helping to care for me and six 12-hour days is more than my mom, Diane can physically manage on her own.
Fair week has always been one of our favorite times of the year. We truly look forward to seeing so many familiar faces, catching up with returning customers, and meeting new ones. Being part of the Lewis County Fair has been such a blessing, and we are so very disappointed to miss it.
We thank you for your continued support, kindness, and understanding. Your encouragement means more than you know.
We wish everyone a wonderful, fun, and safe fair week, and we sincerely hope to see you all again next year. ❤️

A Personal Update to My Wonderful Customers ❤️
Many of you have probably noticed that I've been a little quiet this past week, and I wanted to let you know why.
What I thought was "just" a kidney stone turned into one of the most painful and unexpected weeks of my life. After several trips to the emergency room, I developed a serious kidney infection that required emergency surgery to place a stent and several days in the hospital.
I'm happy to say I'm finally back home, but my journey isn't over. Right now my focus is on eliminating the infection, reducing the swelling in my kidney, and preparing for another procedure in about a month to break up and remove the stone. If all goes according to plan, my recovery will take about six weeks.
Because of this, I have made the difficult decision to cancel my participation in a few upcoming events until I'm healthy enough.
This was not an easy decision. I love creating, meeting all of you at events, and being part of this amazing community. But right now, my body is reminding me that healing has to come first.
Thank you for your patience, your understanding. I promise this is just a temporary pause. As soon as I'm back on my feet, I'll be creating again and back at events.
Until then... I'm following doctor's orders, taking my mountain of medications, drinking enough water to float a canoe, and doing everything I can to send this stubborn little stone packing.
