On display now in the Motor State Distributing atrium: Michael Kunzman’s 1972 Nova.

Powered by a 565-cubic-inch big-block Chevy and running on 9-inch tires, this Nova has covered the quarter-mile in 8.63 seconds. Its racing history includes MotorCity Muscle Challenge championships at Milan Dragway in 2022 and 2024, with a runner-up finish in 2023.

Jason Sugden handles engine assembly, while Phil Freeland keeps the carburetor dialed in at the track.
