Did you know your A/C system doesn’t use coolant?

We hear it all the time: “My coolant is low, that’s why my A/C isn’t cold.”

In reality, your engine coolant and your A/C refrigerant are two completely different systems.

✔️ Coolant helps keep your engine from overheating.
✔️ Refrigerant is a gas that circulates through your A/C system to remove heat and keep you cool.

In this photo, the bright glow shows UV dye helping us locate a refrigerant leak in the condenser. Finding the source of the leak is just as important as recharging the system.
