Starting the week off replacing 27 year old fork oil 🤓😬

We always recommend replacing upper and lower fork bushings when rebuilding forks as these act as guides for the inner fork tube and allow it to move freely up and down without metal on metal contact.

There are made from copper-plated steel and coated with Teflon material - we have seen bushings that have worn past both the Teflon and copper plate into the steel - this will accelerate wear on fork components and contaminate the fork oil as seen here.
